Our School Values
At Maple Grove School, we believe in the importance of values education. Our core values are at the heart of everything we do, and they guide our approach to teaching and learning. These values have been developed in collaboration with the entire school community, including pupils, parents, staff, and governors. We believe that by promoting these values in all areas of school life, we can help our pupils develop a strong sense of ethics and values that will serve them well in all areas of life. From assemblies and lessons to everyday actions and vocabulary, everyone at Maple Grove uses our school values. We are proud of our values and how they reflect our school community.
At our school, we believe that Values Education is more than just a subject to be taught; it's an educational philosophy that guides the way we approach teaching and learning. We involve all stakeholders in choosing which values to focus on and how to embed them throughout the school. By promoting self-respect, respect for others, and respect for the environment, we aim to help our pupils develop a strong sense of ethics and values that will serve them well in all areas of life. We work closely with parents to ensure that they are aware of the Values we are focusing on each half-term, and we use a variety of methods to reinforce these values throughout the school day. With our focus on embedding values in everyday teaching and learning, we are confident that our pupils will leave our school with a strong sense of ethics and values that will serve them well in all areas of life.
